Tailor Position

Alteration Specialists is looking for Tailors in NYC, Hoboken, NJ, and Greenwich, CT. We are seeking dynamic professionals who are distinguished by their charisma, technical prowess, and professional integrity. This role will include sewing on the machine and supporting the fitter/tailors and tailor shop manager. This is a full-time role with an hourly rate, full benefits, and opportunities for future growth.

Responsibilities

• Machine Production and Sewing
• Demonstrate meeting personal production targets
• Cultivate proficiency with men's, women's, and bridal alterations as well as alterations of difficult fabrics

• Analytics
• Constantly evaluate processes that are not efficient and come up with solutions to better optimize our organization
• Inform front desk of all re-alterations
• Keep track of and scan your production during the day and communicate with front desk to confirm accuracy

Experience

• 5+ years of alteration tailoring experience required
• Proficiency in English recommended
