Make an impact: As a Traffic Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations and enhancements of the City's traffic signal system, school zone flashers, interconnect system and streetlights. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Traffic Engineer, Traffic Signal Supervisor, and Electricians to operate, maintain, and modernize the City's transportation system to deliver on the City's commitment to a safe and efficient transportation system.
Learn and grow: As a key member of the Traffic Engineering & Traffic Signals team, you will work alongside the Senior Traffic Engineer, Traffic Signal Supervisor, and Traffic Signal Electricians. What you will do: Reporting to the Senior Traffic Engineer, the Traffic Engineer will assist in the management and implementation of the City's traffic signal system projects. This includes supporting project development, conducting technical analyses, and ensuring effective coordination with maintenance teams and other departments.
