Job Overview We are searching for a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Software Tester to join our team in Washington. As a Software Tester you will be responsible for testing and evaluating software applications and systems to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This is a contract position with a salary of $900 per month, accommodation provided, and free visa and ticket for Malayalees or Filipinos. Responsibilities Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality. Identify defects and document them thoroughly in bug tracking tools. Conduct regression testing to ensure issues are resolved. Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot issues and propose solutions. Perform manual testing as well as automated testing using appropriate tools. Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on potential usability issues. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies. Requirements Proven experience as a Software Tester or in a similar role. Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC). Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and scripts. Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla. English language proficiency is not required for this position. Preference will be given to Malayalees or Filipinos. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
