Student intern opportunity! CoVantage Credit Union is seeking a Software Developer Intern. This individual will focus primarily on efforts related to software development, web development, backend/middle-tier development, business intelligence, data warehousing, data development, with opportunities to leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity and innovation. Job Duties Assist Information Systems team members with the day-to-day operations, development and maintenance of systems including websites, systems, databases, and other applications for high availability and system security in accordance with credit union policies, procedures, and standards Develop software, data related transformations and reports per business requirements Works with business units to understand data analysis and software development needs. Provides end user support for all member and staff facing systems. Maintains the confidentiality of member, employee, and credit union information. Qualifications Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program for Information Systems or Computer related field Basic understanding of software development including but not limited to design patterns, object-oriented design, and other software constructs Basic understanding of business intelligence and data warehousing including but not limited to database and report development, ETL, normalization, and modelling Familiar with AI tools for software development Primary focus is on the Microsoft technology stack (C#, SQL Server, IIS, Visual Studio, Azure, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people Depending on the qualifications and experience of applicants, CoVantage may elect to modify this position and/or job title without reposting the opportunity.
