Working conditions include: in-office presence Monday – Friday from 9am - 5pm, meeting with research team weekly, and coordinating participant activity across multiple participating sites. This is a one year fixed-term position.## PurposeThe successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail; show proficiency in managing multiple tasks and working both independently as well as with a team. The Social Science/Humanities Research Associate I will be provided with training in clinical assessments and will gain experience in general research administration and the preparation of publications and conference presentations.## Responsibilities* Coordinating recruitment efforts for an ongoing clinical trial that examines a community based aerobic exercise intervention for smoking cessation in adults with high anxiety sensitivity.* Organizing and overseeing data collection and study protocols, including management, cleaning, and preparation of data collected via online survey platforms (REDCap, R-Studio, Qualtrics).* Interfacing with research and clinical staff to maintain effective communication regarding participant scheduling, data management, and quality control.* Conducting clinical interviews and preparing assessments.* Maintaining and revising IRB protocols and assisting with research compliance reports and procedures.* Supervision of undergraduate students conducting data entry and other tasks.## Required Qualifications* Minimum of bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field.* Prior research experience with human subjects (including experience as a student).* Fluent in English and Spanish.* Experience with REDCap.*Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate*## Preferred Qualifications* Prior research experience in a psychology lab.* Experience with large data sets and comfortable with data management.* Experience with other software such as R-Studio and Qualtrics.## Salary Range$31,200 - $48,000## Working ConditionsIn-office presence Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm## Required Materials* Resume/CV* 3 work references with their contact information; at least one reference should be from a supervisor* Letter of interest**Important** **for applicants who are NOT current university employees or contingent workers:** You will be prompted to submit your resume the first time you apply, then you will be provided an option to upload a new Resume for subsequent applications.
