Location: Palo Alto, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $40.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Location: On-Site (Peninsula Territory)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2,000

Overview

Honey Homes is seeking an experienced Skilled Handyman to join our growing team on the Peninsula. This is an opportunity to earn a competitive wage, enjoy a predictable Monday–Friday schedule, and build lasting relationships with homeowners without the uncertainty of traditional handyman work.

As a Honey Homes Handyman, you'll manage a dedicated territory of 40–50 residential homes, becoming the trusted maintenance professional for each homeowner. There is no client hunting, no weekend work, no on-call shifts, and no unpredictable schedules—just steady, rewarding work backed by a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a dedicated route of 40–50 residential homes throughout the Peninsula.
• Serve as the primary maintenance professional for assigned homeowners.
• Perform a variety of residential repairs and maintenance tasks, including:
• Carpentry (doors, trim, framing, repairs)
• Drywall patching and repair
• Interior and exterior painting
• Plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, minor pipe repairs)
• Electrical work (fixtures, outlets, minor wiring tasks)
• Smart home device installation and setup
• Diagnose and troubleshoot household maintenance issues independently.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with homeowners through exceptional customer service.
• Maintain accurate job records using the Honey Homes mobile app.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

Requirements

Must Have

• 5+ years of handyman, maintenance technician, or multi-trade experience.
• Strong hands-on skills across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and drywall.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Valid driver's license.
• Own set of professional tools.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding up to 12 feet high.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience as a maintenance technician.
• Carpentry background.
• Plumbing experience.
• Electrical experience.
• Experience installing and configuring smart home devices.
