Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing school-based physical therapy services on a contract basis in a close-knit educational community near Powell, TN. As an integral member of the support staff, you’ll work collaboratively with other healthcare and educational professionals to help students achieve their mobility and developmental goals in the school setting.

Ideal candidates bring a passion for pediatric care, a creative approach to therapy, and a strong commitment to student success. School-based experience is appreciated but not required—a willingness to adapt and engage with a diverse student population is key.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Tennessee
• Background in healthcare or educational settings, particularly schools, is beneficial
• Knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and appropriate therapy documentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
• Ability to plan and implement therapy interventions tailored to each student’s unique needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP/504 plans
• Assess students to determine functional levels and develop appropriate treatment goals
• Document progress and prepare reports for educators, parents, and administrators
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to optimize support
• Adapt activities and equipment to ensure accessibility in the school environment
• Participate in meetings and provide input for the development and revision of IEPs
