Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize food production machinery and tools after each production cycle.- Sweep, mop, and maintain the cleanliness of production floors and surfaces.- Handle waste disposal and recycling responsibly.- Safely manage and store cleaning chemicals, adhering to all safety protocols.- Engage in thorough cleaning sessions, concentrating on difficult-to-access spots throughout the facility.- Conduct regular sanitation inspections to help maintain our cleanliness standards and create a healthier environment for everyone.- Promptly report hygiene concerns or potential risks to management.- Strictly follow all company and regulatory sanitation guidelines.
Requirements
- Strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physically demanding tasks.- Experience with heavy-duty cleaning equipment and materials is preferred.- Ability to understand and follow safety and sanitation instructions.- Prior experience in a sanitation role within a food production environment is an advantage but not required.- Must have own transportation.
