Receptionist

Founded in 1920, Akerman is recognized as one of the nation's premier law firms, with more than 700 lawyers across the United States.

Akerman is seeking a Receptionist for its Miami office. This role is ideal for a professional, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced law firm environment and enjoys being the first point of contact for clients and visitors. This is a full-time role that requires you to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. 5:30 p.m. with occasional evening and weekend hours. Punctuality and reliable attendance are required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate and manage a multi-line telephone system professionally and efficiently
2. Greet and assist clients, vendors, and visitors
3. Maintain calendars and coordinate conference room scheduling as needed
4. Assist with administrative and office support projects
5. Provide general front-office support in a professional law firm setting

Qualifications

1. High School diploma required
2. Minimum of three (3) years of related experience
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
4. Strong communication, organizational, and calendaring skills
5. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
6. Law firm experience preferred, but not required
