Job Description

We are seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst to support accounting operations, treasury activities, financial reporting and month-end close processes. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career finance professional looking to develop a strong foundation in corporate finance and accounting. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work with financial data in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform daily and monthly bank and cash account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed. Prepare journal entries, including recurring entries, accruals, reclassifications and adjustments, with appropriate supporting documentation. Support treasury operations, including wire transfers, cash activity monitoring and reconciliation of treasury transactions to the general ledger. Prepare and maintain recurring financial reports, including cash position reports, account analyses, variance reporting and other management reporting requirements. Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules and account analysis. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with internal controls, accounting policies and audit requirements. Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and analysis. Assist with special projects, process improvements, and ad hoc financial analysis as needed. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field Understanding of fundamental accounting principles, including debits, credits, general ledger accounting and financial reporting concepts Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables and data analysis functions Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large volumes of financial data Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring deadlines in a team-oriented environment Contact Blake Grimm bgrimm@jacobsongroup.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
