Job Description

Our client is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support the U.S. Army’s Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiatives. The right candidate will have 1+ year of accounting or finance experience, exposure to financial systems or reconciliations, and the ability to operate in a client‑facing consulting environment. This role requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one). Must be able to work a hybrid work schedule onsite in the Washington DC area. Desired Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field; 1+ year of accounting or finance experience (federal or commercial; internships accepted); Experience with general ledgers, financial statements, reconciliations, or audit support; Understanding of financial systems and data validation processes; Ability to analyze large datasets and identify discrepancies; Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills; Exposure to tools such as SQL, Python, Power Platform, or similar technologies processes.
