Essential Functions Monitor all HIM functions related to medical record processing and quality control for legal medical records. Coordinate all HIM operational functions performed onsite. Implement facility policies and procedures to organize and maintain the medical records system in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Coordinate medical record processing of facilities onsite documents. Act as liaison for physician chart completion and assist physicians when necessary. Perform audits, provide trending reports, and work with end users to improve compliance with accuracy of documents in the medical records. Coordinate Release of Information functions. Perform all necessary on-site office functions. Provide education to end users regarding the medical record. Education Minimum Required: Associate’s Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree Experience Minimum Required: Two years of experience in a related field required with an Associate’s degree; no experience required with a bachelor’s degree. Preferred: Health Information Management experience.
