Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fence Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of fences for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The role requires strong physical abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install various types of fences, including wood, vinyl, chain link, metal, and electric fences according to specifications.
- Review and interpret blueprints, plans, or project instructions to determine fencing layout and materials required.
- Prepare worksite by clearing debris, measuring land, and marking fence lines.
- Dig postholes manually or using machinery, ensuring proper depth and alignment.
- Secure posts, rails, and fence panels using nails, fasteners, and concrete as required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working order.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations on the job site.
- Communicate with customers and team members to address any questions or concerns.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in fence installation, construction, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to operate power tools, post-hole diggers, and other construction equipment.
- Strong understanding of measurements, leveling, and alignment principles.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable).
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of different fence types and their installation processes.
- Familiarity with safety standards and building codes.
- Experience working in team environments and on construction sites.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift [weight requirement, 50-100 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and climb as necessary.
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments for long periods of time.
