Event Server | Part-Time | Events by RHC NY

Events by RHC NY is seeking an Events Server for the Peak Event Space. This role pays an hourly rate of $30.00. Benefits for Part-Time roles include a 401(k) Savings plan and 401(k) matching. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.

Position Summary

The Events Server is responsible for the set-up, execution, and breakdown of events. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. We ask our team members to maintain excellent attendance and availability to work events as scheduled per business needs.

Responsibilities

• Commitment to schedule is expected.
• Demonstrate excellence in guest service, interactions with co-workers, and compliance with uniform and grooming standards.
• Serve passed foods, beverages, or plated meals to guests, replenish food stations or bars, and attend to food stations, bars, buffets, or coat check with comprehensive knowledge of all items.
• Assist in unloading and loading equipment, products, or goods to and from event venues, capable of handling up to 50 pounds of weight.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in both event space and back-of-house areas.
• Uphold sanitation, health, and safety standards across all areas.
• Perform any standard duties or tasks assigned related to service setup, execution, and breakdown.
