JCFS Chicago is seeking a Digital Content Coordinator who is energized about creating engaging social media content, building online communities, and driving meaningful audience interaction. In this role you will create compelling social media content, web pages, and digital campaigns for JCFS Chicago that amplify vital services for individuals, families, and communities across Chicagoland.

Purpose

The Digital Content Coordinator assists in the development, creation, and analysis of social media, web pages and digital campaigns for JCFS Chicago and all sub-brands. Responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of content across all JCFS digital channels.


This is a hybrid position based in West Rogers Park.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Collaborate with Marketing team and program staff to create social media posts, digital campaigns, and web content.

  • Oversee digital content across platforms for various audiences, ensuring consistency in brand, voice, style, and messaging.
  • Works in Hootsuite to create, edit and schedule social media content.
  • Regularly reviews website content for accuracy and consistency, while working with programs and departments to update and add new content.
  • Assist with the development and workflow of content calendars for all JCFS social media platforms and digital communications.
  • Conduct interviews, research, and gather relevant information to support content creation.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of digital content using analytics tools and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide support in coordinating and executing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Attend events and provide digital content coverage as needed.
  • Represent JCFS and its programs in a positive manner to both internal and external contacts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Social Media or relevant field or five plus years of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2– 4 years related work experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Experience using email platforms such as Luminate and Constant Contact.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using digital publishing tools, such as Hootsuite.
  • Expert knowledge of social media platforms and experience managing social media accounts for business purposes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Compensation: The compensation for this position is between $50,000 - $55,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience.
