Position Overview

We are looking for dedicated Community Engagement Coordinator to help our organization grow and sustain its mission. This individual will play an important role in brainstorming fundraising ideas, helping organize community initiatives, and supporting efforts to secure resources needed to operate and serve the community.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys planning, community engagement, leadership, nonprofit development, and creating meaningful impact.

Volunteer Responsibilities

The volunteer may assist with:

  • Brainstorming and developing fundraising ideas and campaigns
  • Researching grant opportunities and assisting with grant writing support
  • Helping plan fundraising events and community outreach activities
  • Assisting with donor engagement and sponsorship outreach
  • Supporting online fundraising and social media campaigns
  • Identifying partnership opportunities with churches, businesses, and community organizations
  • Helping organize donation drives and special events
  • Participating in strategic planning discussions for organizational growth
  • Assisting with volunteer and community engagement efforts
  • Helping build awareness for the organization’s mission and programs

Qualifications

We are seeking someone who is:

  • Associate degree required/ bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Passionate about community impact and helping others
  • Previous experience in any of the following areas is preferred: Community outreach and engagement, Fundraising or donor relations, Grant research and grant writing, Budget planning or financial coordination, Event planning and coordination, Nonprofit administration, Volunteer coordination
  • Willing to contribute ideas and help build a growing organization
  • Supportive of a faith-based mission and community-centered work
