Business Litigation Associate (5+ Years Experience)

Locations: Washington, DC
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Starting from $205,000+

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Litigation Associate to join a leading U.S.-based law firm. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile business and commercial litigation matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will gain hands-on experience, direct client exposure, and mentorship from senior attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of business and commercial litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Develop and implement litigation strategies
• Manage cases independently and collaboratively
• Support trial preparation and client representation
• Work on complex disputes, including:
  • Supply chain litigation
  • Commercial disputes
  • International trade and tariff-related matters

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business or commercial litigation
• Strong experience drafting pleadings and motions
• Proven ability to manage cases and develop litigation strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. ( no sponsorship available )
• Must be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with supply chain litigation
• Exposure to international trade or tariff-related disputes
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
