Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Branch Production Operator for our client. This is responsible for reviewing batch sheets, properly selecting weights of chemicals, and mixing chemicals to specifications as indicated on the batch sheets. This position is responsible for ensuring that all batches of chemicals are properly filtered to meet quality assurance standards.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

  • Support and promote a culture of safety first by personal demonstration of appropriate safety behaviors and actively caring about others.
  • Have a solid understanding of production procedures including how to review a batch sheet, using the correct containers, mixers, and preparation process.
  • Maintains and is familiar with all necessary manufacturing equipment including but not limited to PPE, mixers, scales, forklifts, etc.
  • Comprehend critical parameters of various product lines.
  • Records production data from documents including customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual work production sheets.
  • Calculate and record factors such as total quantity of specific material used and lot number from individual intermediates and letdowns.
  • Performs proper filtration of QA approved materials into containers specified by process order instructions.
  • Fills containers with product after filtration to the correct weights as specified on the process order.
  • Performs correct and neat identification of product that has been filtered and packaged so it can be properly labeled, stored, and shipped.
  • Accurately records yields and container consumption on process orders for confirmation.
  • Processes re-packs of materials into new containers; completes the necessary re-pack forms.
  • RCRA Awareness and satellite waste accumulation (including but not limited to) container selection, labeling, dating, etc.
  • Periodically removing satellite waste containers and deliver to storage area.
  • Perform scheduled housekeeping, as assigned by department supervisor or manager
  • Annual RCRA Training including Emergency Coordinator (secondary) refresher, Contingency Plan training, RCRA hazardous waste training
  • Spill/emergency response procedures.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment. Previous chemical experience preferred.
  • Ability to write, read, comprehend and follow simple instructions.
  • Proven ability to perform simple math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Frequent ability to walk, stand, move, and/or navigate in an open warehouse environment
  • Frequent operation of a forklift
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, sit, balance, crouch, crawl, climb, stoop.
  • Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
  • Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Communication skills.
