Billing Representative

Chord Specialty Dental Partners is a trusted name in pediatric and orthodontic dental careand we're growing! We're looking for a detail-oriented Billing Representative to help drive the financial operations that keep our practices running smoothly.

In this role, you'll take ownership of patient account management and insurance claims processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency every step of the way. Your work will directly support our mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered careand help families access the services they need with confidence.

This position will be fully remote through the end of June 2025. Beginning in July, it will transition to a hybrid schedule with in-office days on Tuesday through Thursday and remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Starting in January 2026, the role will shift to a full-time on-site schedule, Monday through Friday.

West Chester, PA

Responsibilities

• Posts all insurance EFTs with accuracy
• Review insurance EOBs and places a copy in the patient account
• Make accurate account adjustments
• Mail statements
• Follow up with past due accounts, including account audits
• Follows scripting for collection calls
• Submit refund requests
• Keep AR within the company set percentages
• Records batch totals with date and initials on payment receipt spreadsheet
• Balances batches and runs transaction reports
• Ensures accuracy of all patient data

Qualifications

• Physically located in the Eastern or Central Standard Time Zone preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience working with healthcare A/R
• Technical School/Associate's Degree preferred
• Knowledge of dental or medical billing/collections/insurance terminology preferred
• Knowledge of basic accounts receivable and accounting principles
• Understanding of the revenue cycle and how the various components work together preferred
• Computer literacy skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to recognize roadblocks that may be causing slower reimbursement and work with management team to create solutions
• Service-oriented/customer-centric
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
