Job Title: Production Operator



Job Description

A machine operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in the manufacturing process. You will work both individually and as part of a team, delivering consistent work and reporting accurate information on a timely basis. Success in this position requires producing timely and high-quality output within the company's quality and production run standards. A commitment to continuous improvement is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare machinery for operation by performing routine maintenance tasks and conducting safety checks.
  • Set up and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Monitor machines during operation to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Conduct regular in-process inspections to ensure quality control standards are maintained.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary adjustments during production.
  • Record production data, machine settings, and product quality information.
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to proper use of PPE to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Consistently meet production requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in production and machine operation.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to inspect and operate machinery.
  • Basic computer skills for entering activities into the ERP system.
  • Ability to speak and read English effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret gauges and record measurements.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, MSDS, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.
  • Ability to stand for an 8–10-hour shift.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management capabilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • No allergy to carbon fibers.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
